OperantCorp was founded in 2021 with a simple belief: technology should think with you, not for you.

What started as a research project at Stanford's Cognitive Science Lab became the most widely adopted human-AI interface in history. Luminis — from the Latin lumen, meaning light — was designed to illuminate, not replace, the human mind.

Our founder, Dr. Elena Voss, envisioned a world where cognitive augmentation was as natural as wearing glasses. Where the gap between what you know and what you need to know was bridged in real time. Where every person, regardless of background, had access to the full power of their own thinking.
